Dance clothing for partner dancing can be very difficult to source in the UK - and it's horribly expensive (just to warn you). I find that I end up using these sites for ideas and then looking for similar items in fashion shops. Ladies- because of the high lycra content in dancewear, a good place to shop is those 'cheap' shops or boutiques that have a high turnover of stock rather than the chainstores and big names (an example of this would be 'Surprise surprise', and there are several shops of this type in Bromley). The often carry a lot of 'club' gear that is suited to dancing.

• Bespoke Dance shoes - semi made to measure shoes for ballroom and latin - specify colour, heel height, suede or leather sole....
• Darcos Tango Shoes - These wonderful shoes are handmade in Argentina with either a suede or leather sole to your specification. Though designed for tango, these shoes are great for any form of dance!
• Tangoleva - beautiful dance fashion from the states
• Dancesport - Dance fashion collections
• Tosca Fashion - aimed at the Salsa/Latino market
• DanceSport International - practice wear, dresses and shoes
• Daddy O's - An american site, of high quality reproduction 30's to 50's gear for Men and ladies. Some beautiful stuff to be found here for you Jive fans.
• Kaleidoscope catalogue have a good range in fashion which is different and dressy enough for dance
• Melt Accessories - Beautiful and unique peices of jewellery and accessories hand made to the highest standards! Georgous peices to add to your dance wardrobe.
• Tights and More! - Many of you ask me where I get my tights and stockings from, as finding something a little bit different can be hard work (particularly if you don't want to remortage the house in the process!).
